Back at the Estádio do Dragão two months later, but now to stay, Terem Moffi is “very proud” to wear the colors of “a Club that fights to win games and trophies in Europe and in Portugal” and determined to “score the goals that the fans expect to see”.
In his first statements in blue and white, the new owner of the number 29 shirt showed himself eager to reunite with Francesco Farioli – “someone who likes to focus on details to help players evolve” – and Pablo Rosario – “one of the best human beings” he has met and “a great footballer” who “told him many good things about the Club, the group and the fans” – with whom he worked at OGC Nice.
To the fans, the Nigerian international striker introduced himself as “a player who loves to be happy playing football, scoring goals, working for the team and helping his teammates” and asked them to “continue to support the team”: “We want to continue winning games and scoring goals to finish the season in the best way”.
Gratitude and pride upon arrival
“I feel very proud to be here. Wearing the colors of this Club means a lot to me and I can only thank the president, the coach and the fans.”
International reputation
“Everyone knows FC Porto, a Club that fights to win games and trophies in Europe and in Portugal. I know how important that is for the fans, for the Porto family, so it’s very good to be here.”

On the other side of the story
“Two months ago, I played against FC Porto and I didn’t have good feelings because we lost. This time, I’m on the other side and I feel very good.”
Francesco Farioli
“We worked together two years ago and coach Francesco Farioli is someone who likes to focus on the small details. He focuses on those details to make you evolve. When he left, he went to Ajax and had a great season there, now at FC Porto he is also doing something extraordinary, so he has all my respect and consideration.”
Pablo Rosario:
“He is one of the best human beings I have ever met. Besides being an excellent person, he is a great footballer and, when I started thinking about coming here, I immediately spoke to him. He told me many good things about the Club, the group and the fans. I am very excited to see him again in person.”
Self-portrait:
“I am a player who loves to be happy playing football. When I feel like that, nothing else matters, I am at my best. I love scoring goals, working for the team and helping my teammates, as well as interacting with the fans.”
Maximum demand
: “I know that the fans have high expectations, but I want, with God’s help, to score the goals they expect to see.”
The message for the fans
“Keep supporting the team and me too, because we’re going to try to keep winning games and scoring goals to finish the season in the best possible way.”
