Terem Moffi was FC Lorient best player when he grabbed his fourth goal of the season in the French Ligue 1.
He was rated his club’s best player with 7.8 points.
The striker hit target in the 57th minute to draw his club level at 1-1 with visiting Lyon.
However, front runners Lyon will then score three more goals to race away 4-1 winners.
Like last season, FC Lorient are still flirting with relegation as they are only two points outside the drop zone.
They are 16th on the 20-team table with 24 points from 27 matches.
