FC Lorient striker Terem Moffi has revealed he hopes at some point in his career to play in the high-profile Premier League in England.
The 23-year-old striker still has two years left on his contract with the club, who have in the last two seasons stayed up in Ligue 1.
In his first season in France, he netted 15 goals and last season he scored eight goals and provided four assists.
“At the moment I am enjoying my time in France, the league is physical, it’s fast and technical as well, but in the future every top player wants to play in the Premier League,” Moffi said in an interview monitored by SCORENigeria
Moffi also said he is excited to be back with the Super Eagles after he was left out of the AFCON in Cameroon.
“It was disappointing not to be at the AFCON, but I respect the coach’s decision,” he said.
“I am excited and happy (to be back to the team).
“With a new coach, it’s an opportunity for everyone to show what they can do and try to win their spots.
“But it will be difficult because in the striking role we have brilliant players, so you have to be on your game 24/7, no sleeping, you have to be ready.”
