Terem Moffi scored his 11th Ligue 1 goal this season with his family in the stands cheering him on as FC Lorient were held to a 2-2 draw at home tonight by Monaco.
Moffi put the home team ahead 2-1 in the 77th minute, just minutes after they had drawn level after Monaco went in front.
The striker’s parents and his brothers were all at the stadium to cheer him.
Moffi senior Leo, a former Enugu Rangers goalkeeper, told SCORENigeria: “I felt a great gratitude to God.”
However, he was denied the match winner after Monaco snatched an equaliser with the last kick of the ball.
The Super Eagles ace is a major transfer target in this window with clubs from both the Premier League and La Liga in a hot chase for his signature.
