Swedish club Mjallby AIF have said they are delighted to sign Moses Ogbu, who they consider a “leader” who will add value to them in the new season.
Free agent Ogbu has signed till the end of the new season after he terminated his contract with English club Grimsby Town.
“Moses is a player we have been watching for a long time. He is a player with a great experience in Swedish football and also Allsvenskan and this will be useful for our squad,” said Mjallby sports director Hasse Larsson.
“He is a leader who has been captain of previous clubs. We believe that Moses will fit in very well in the competition we want to create as he can play in both in central midfield and as a striker.”
Ogbu, 29, quit another Swedish club IK Sirius after the 2018 season.
