Enyimba striker Chijoke Mbaoma is now the leading scorer in the NPFL after he netted his 13th goal of the campaign in a 5-0 mauling of visiting Kano Pillars.
He rounded up the Pillars goalkeeper to double Enyimba advantage in the 35th minute.
The 20-year-old striker has also provided two assists in 24 appearances for the defending champions this season.
His closest challengers for the NPFL Golden Boot are Albert Hilary of Plateau United (12 goals) and Sikiru Alimi (11 goals).
