SCORENigeria can report that midfielder Abdussalam Magashy has signed a new and improved contract with IFK Varnamo, who will next season play in the Swedish top league after they won the championship in the lower league.
This has thus ended the interests of several top Swedish clubs like Kalmar and Hammarby.
The former FC Hearts star had initially rejected an offer by the club before they won promotion to the top division.
Energetic Magashy has in four years made his way to top of the Swedish league after he started out in the fourth-tier division.
This past season, the 23-year-old midfielder scored three goals in 24 league appearances.
