Star midfielder Abdussalam Magashy has rejected a new contract offered by Swedish club IFK Varnamo.
“He has been offered a new contract, but he will not take it,” a source informed SCORENigeria
He is understood to be on the radar of several top clubs in Sweden and could walk away a free agent at the end of the season.
IFK Varnamo are chasing promotion to the Swedish top flight as they are now second on the Superettan standings with 30 points from 15 matches.
Magashy, 23, has been on sensational form so much so he was named the second best player in the Superettan thus far this season by Aflonbladet newspaper.
The former FC Hearts star is an energetic box-to-box midfielder who has scored three goals this term.
