Influential sports daily newspaper L’Equipe has reported that Victor Osimhen transfer to PSG will not come through because coach Luis Enrique said the Napoli star is not his type of a top striker.
According to L’Equipe, Luis Enrique is “not very keen on a “9” of his (Osimhen) profile “.
The newspaper reported: “He is not the type of centre forward that Luis Enrique likes to rely on.
“The Napoli striker is in reality the wish of Luis Campos, who has kept good contact with him since their shared past at LOSC, and of Nasser Al-Khelaïfi. Under these conditions, it is difficult to find a positive outcome in this matter…”
Leading Italian sports newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport has already reported that PSG have pulled out of signing Osimhen after they could not reach an agreement with Napoli.
France international Randal Kolo Muani and Goncalo Ramos have now been assured they will be PSG strikers in the new season.
