Influential French newspaper L’Equipe has alleged that Victor Osimhen is ready to stop training at Napoli to force his transfer this summer.
The newspaper quoted various sources in Italy as saying the striker will stop training at Napoli so as to get him out of the Serie A club.
The newspaper reported that Napoli have been tough in their negotiations with clubs interested to sign the 25-year-old striker.
Top Transfer Expert Fabrizio Romano described negotiations between the two clubs as “not easy”.
Various reports suggested Osimhen has already agreed personal terms with PSG, who however are not willing to meet the player’s release clause of about 130 Million Euros.
He has a contract with Napoli until June 2026, but has made it known he wishes to quit this summer.
