Leon Balogun is now in danger of a hefty ban after he saw red as Rangers fell 2-1 to Scottish league leaders Celtic in the Old Firm Derby and then spat at fans today.
The Super Eagles defender was sent off for a professional foul in the 71st minute with Rangers losing 2-0, when as the last man he hauled down an opponent heading to goal.
He then got himself into more hot water after he was caught spitting at fans as he was marched into the dressing room.
It is not way to end the year for the experienced central defender, who has been on top form lately.
It was Celtic second straight win over bitter city rivals Rangers this season.
The defending champions have thus stretched their lead at the top of the table.
