Samuel Chukwueze will now report late to the Super Eagles AFCON camp after the NFF agreed a request from his Serie A club for him to feature in a Coppa Italia tie against Cagliari.
According to Gianluca di Marzio, Chukwueze will now feature for AC Milan in the cup game on January 2 before he joins up with the Super Eagles in Dubai the following day.
The Eagles are due in Dubai on January 2.
However, Chukwueze’s Algerian teammate Ismael Bennacer has been released for his own country’s AFCON training camp after they rejected Milan request to also delay him.
