Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers has admitted the team have missed the quality that Ademola Lookman brought last season.
Lookman featured for ‘The Foxes’ last term, scoring six goals in 26 appearances.
It was widely believed that the Premier League club will take up the buy option attached to this loan deal, but they did not.
It has been reported that Leicester City are going through financial difficulties and that may have stopped them from meeting the valuation of Lookman by RB Leipzig.
The Super Eagles forward has since moved to Atalanta is Serie A.
“I miss a player like Ademola Lookman,”Rodgers said after his team lost at home to Manchester United Thursday night.
Leicester are presently bottom of the Premier League table with a point from five rounds of matches.
