UD Almeria are back on top of the Spanish Segunda Division thanks to a goal and an assist by leading scorer Sadiq Umar.
The striker is the leading scorer in the second-tier Spanish league with six goals.
Last season, he scored 20 goals in the league.
Almeria recorded a crucial 2-1 win at Girona Monday night with Sadiq opening scores in the 52nd minute.
It was a simple finish by the on-form striker as he leaned back before he placed his shot beyond the goalkeeper from inside the box.
He also assisted for his team’s winning goal in the 68th minute.
Almeria now have 18 points from eight matches, a point ahead of closest rivals Sporting Gijon.
