SCORENigeria can report that Jordan Attah Kadiri has moved closer to a transfer to ambitious Belgian second division club Lommel SK after his Swedish club Ostersunds FK accepted an improved bid.
SCORENigeria first broke the story that OFK had rejected a first offer by the City Group, who owns Manchester City and also acquired Lommel recently.
This is only the second season in Sweden for 20-year-old Kadiri and he has netted twice and provided an assist for troubled OFK.
Last season, he accounted for three goals.
His exit will be a huge body blow to the Swedish club, whose status in the top flight is under scrutiny at the Court of Arbitration for Sports (CAS).
Lommel are a big step up for the proven goal scorer as he has a bigger platform to showcase himself, a source familiar with this transfer informed SCORENigeria
For the new season, they will be gunning for promotion to the top league in Belgium
