Former England star Jermine Defoe, who netted a hat-trick for Rangers to trounce Hibernian 6-1 in the Scottish Premier League, has described youngster Sheyi Ojo as a “fantastic” player who will be massive for the Scottish giants this season.
The 22-year-old Ojo, who is on loan from Liverpool, also scored Rangers last goal of the game against Hibs in the 90th minute.
“Sheyi has been fantastic since he’s been in and he’s getting his goals and assists. He’s direct and explosive,” Defoe praised.
“He’s a top player with so much potential. I think he is going to be a massive player for us this year and he’ll score a lot of goals.”
