Jamilu Collins fired an unstoppable shot from distance for his first ever goal in the Bundesliga, but it was not enough as his struggling club Paderborn fell 3-2 at home to champions Bayern Munich.
Collins let fly with his favoured left foot a loose ball well outside the box six minutes from to pull another goal back for the home team only for Bayern to still run away winners.
This was the Super Eagles defender’s first goal in the German Bundesliga and it was worth all the wait after he started out in the German third league.
Promoted Paderborn remain rooted to the bottom of the league table with a solitary point from six matches, while Bayern are top on 14 points.
