It will be a tough match tomorrow night against Italy but the Flying Eagles can win it if they played as a team, according to their AC Milan starlet Victor Eletu.
Italy are top of the U20 World Cup Group D with three points having scored more goals than the Flying Eagles after both teams won their opening games.
Italy stunned five-time champions Brazil 3-2, while the Flying Eagles edged past the Dominican Republic 2-1.
“It will be a tough game (vs Italy) as three, four of their players have already played for their first-team clubs,” said Eletu, who was a late sub in Sunday’s win over the Dominican Republic.
“The only way we can beat them is to play as a team.
“We will give our best to qualify for the next round.”
Flying Eagles defender Solomon Agbalaka maintained they do not fear the Italians.
“Both Italy and Brazil are no small teams, but we’re also not a small team,” he said.
“I believe the best team will win.”
Kick-off tomorrow is 7pm in Nigeria.
