Alhassan Yusuf’s return to action from an ankle injury has been delayed and so he will not feature in tonight’s home Belgian league game against Gent.
Alhassan missed his team’s last two games to close 2022 due to the injury.
However, he was expected to return early in the New Year.
He last played before the World Cup break in a 2-2 draw with champions Club Brugge.
He has made 17 appearances in the league thus far.
Antwerp are third in the standings with 36 points games, while Gent are two places below and five points adrift.
