Odion Ighalo tonight opened scoring for defending champions Al Hilal after just three minutes in an opening day game of the new season in Saudi Arabia.
Ighalo, who was crowned Goal King in Saudi Arabia last season with 24 goals, showed he means business in the new campaign when he inspired the champions to a 2-0 home win over Al-Khaleej.
He put away the ball after the goalkeeper failed to hold on to a shot.
The 33-year-old Super Eagles striker also had a goal disallowed.
