Odion Ighalo scored his 17th goal of the season in Saudi Arabia to set up another grudge match against his former Al Shabab.
Ighalo, 32, drew Al Hilal level on 62 minutes in the quarterfinal of the Kings Cup against Al Nasr.
Al Hilal will now face Al Shabab in the semifinal of the cup competition on April 2 after they eventually beat Al Nasr 2-1 Monday night.
Ighalo, who has revealed he quit Al Shabab after they blocked him from featuring at the recent AFCON in Cameroon, scored twice for Al Hilal in the league when he came face-to-face with his former club earlier this month.
