Swedish newspaper GT has predicted Alhassan Yusuf is poised for a major transfer soon as he has continued to be the best player at IFK Goteborg.
Yusuf, 20, missed out on a move in the summer transfer window.
However, GT has now said the high-energy midfielder has remained one of his club’s best players and as such he could move in January and not later than next summer.
“(Yusuf) IFK Goteborg’s best player this season along with Giannis Anestis. Learnt he will leave this winter or not later than next summer,” the Gothenburg newspaper analysed.
‘Hasse’ has been linked with several Premier League clubs and Belgium.
GT said the midfielder would have moved but for the Coronavirus Pandemic.
The newspaper further said Yusuf has to step up on his tempo and add more muscles to become a top star in a top league.
“He has potentials and can almost cover half of the pitch on his own. But he must improve on his tempo and put on a few kilos of muscle to become a dominant player in a good European league,” it concluded.
