An easy day in the office for the West Brom central defence as the game was played in the other half of the pitch from start to finish.

The other central defender who was also not troubled as the Eagles laid siege on the Sao Tome for the entire duration of the game even though he bagged a needless caution.

Captain on the day who did what was expected of him even though one would have expected him to contribute more upfront as the opponents did not pose a serious threat in attack.
Frank Onyeka 6
The second defensive midfielder to start this encounter when one would have expected the coach to have played an attacking player in his place against this poor team.
Kelechi Iheanacho 8
He was the creative influence of the team as he was given a licence to play an attack of Osimhen, Awoniyi and Lookman. He enjoyed himself in this role and was unlucky not to get his name on the scoreboard.

Scored a good goal and was always a threat when the Eagles surged forward again and again.
Taiwo Awoniyi 6
Struggled to get into the game before he finally got his goal early in the second half to justify his starting spot.
Victor Osimhen 9
His hat-trick today means he has scored a total of seven goals against the islanders. He is far and away the leading scorer of the AFCON qualifiers with 10 goals. That should count for something leading up to the CAF Player of the Year Award in December.
Victor Boniface 6
The big striker provided an assist when he was brought in for his long-awaited debut. He will soon be a fixture in this team.
Samuel Chukwueze 7
He got a goal and an assist in the 17 minutes he was on the pitch.
Joe Aribo 5
Did not turn up when he was introduced in place of Frank Onyeka. His place on the squad is under serious threat.
