IFK Varnamo are pushing for promotion to the Swedish top league with their Nigerian star Abdussalam Magashy’s contributions to this already being recognized.
Swedish top newspaper Aftonbladet has ranked him as the second best player in the Superettan.
“The Nigerian symbolizes Asterhed-Thern’s team better than anyone else,” reported AftonBladet
“The dynamic midfielder is comfortable in attack and defence and works within the team’s tactics.
“He is physically strong, technically great and tactically gifted.”
This season, the former FC Hearts star, 23, has scored twice in 14 appearances and Varnamo are back on top of the Superettan with 29 points from 14 matches.
