The New England Revolution star, a full international since 2024, scored twice for Nigeria to shoot past Jamaica 3-0 to retain the invitational tournament staged in London Saturday night.
His second goal was a beauty to behold as he was brilliantly set up by Hamburg winger Philip Otele for him to open his body and let fly from outside the box.
“I feel great to win the Unity Cup and score my first goals for the country,” he said.
“For sure, my family is proud.”
He also praised coach Eric Chelle for putting together an experimental side to win the tournament back-to-back in style.
“He did a good job to put together this team of new players. We play fantastic football,” he remarked.
