Leading Italian sports newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport has reported that Inter Milan have pulled the plug on the transfer of Ademola Lookman after they failed to reach an agreement with Atalanta.
Gazzetta dello Sport said Inter will not make further bids for Ademola Lookman after two offers were rejected by Atalanta.
The newspaper said Inter are now thinking beyond the Nigerian star and are looking at adding to their attacking midfield.
This development will most certainly throw wide open the chase for the player, who has not been short of suitors, from Napoli to Atletico Madrid and Arsenal.
