German Bundesliga club Hamburg are moving in for Super Eagles striker Terem Moffi, who is on his way out of Ligue 1 side OGC Nice.
The 27-year-old Moffi plays for Nice, where his contract is due to expire next summer.
The French club have dropped him from the first-team squad as they await a buyer for him.
Nice had paid €22.5 million for the forward three years ago, but he was unable to meet expectations, partly due to an ACL injury in the 2024/25 season.
Moffi spent the latter half of the previous season on loan at FC Porto.
Due to his contract having only one year remaining, it is reported that HSV believes there is an opportunity to sign him for a reduced fee.
The forward has 23 caps and six goals for Nigeria and has a current market value of €8million, according to Transfermarkt.
Beşiktaş have also been linked with a move for the player.
