Former Super Eagles goalkeeper Greg Etafia has told SCORENigeria he hopes to be No 1 at Premier Soccer League club Highlands Park four years after he retired from the game, while his son, Kevin, has continued to shine for the youth team of the South African club.
Etafia, 36, has been persuaded to come out of retirement after he recently impressed in goal for the South African club, where he has been a goalkeeper trainer.

“I am looking forward to the season back as a player now,” he told SCORENigeria
“All I need now is to regain my fitness as the reflexes and experience are still there.
“I believe if I can do so, I can fight to be No 1.”
Highlands Park have offered the former Plateau United shot stopper a year’s deal, but he has demanded for a two-year contract.
Etafia’s sensational comeback is at a time his son has continued to catch the eye as a central defender for the Highlands Park youth team.
Kevin, who was born in South Africa, was recently named the best defender at a youth tournament, the Engen Knockout Challenge.
He scored in the semifinal of the tournament against his former team Wits University and Highlands Park finished third.
