The Super Eagles have many big talents around them and with the support of the fans they will soon be flying once again, according to former coach Gernot Rohr.
“There are so many big talents, so many good players around the Super Eagles that the team will soon bounce back,” Rohr said in an interview with Eagle7FM
“The fans must stand behind the team even in moments like this when they are not going to the World Cup and there was no success at the AFCON.”
Rohr was in charge of the Eagles for five years before his dismissal in December 2021.
He said the NPFL has been badly run and the clubs in the top league have failed to produce young players because they do not like to work with such players.
“The best young players in the country are in the private academies and not in the clubs, who do not work with young players,” he maintained.
In the meantime, he revealed that since his departure from Nigeria he has turned down offers to coach clubs in Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Qatar.
