Gift Orban has said he is delighted to transfer to Lyon and promised to lift the French Ligue 1 club with his goals.
The 21-year-old striker has signed a contract with Lyon until 2028.
“I worked for this moment for a long time,” Gift Orban said.
“I am very happy to be here with goals.
“I like to score goals and I want to do more for this club.”
The striker joined from Belgian club KAA Gent and the immediate target is to move them from relegation zone after a difficult first round in the season.
They are in the relegation playoffs spot with 16 points from 18 matches.
Gift Orban said he is also thrilled to play alongside Lyon icon and former Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette.
“Lacazette is a very big player and I am happy to play in the same team with him,” he celebrated.
