The Black Queens of Ghana came from a goal down in the first half to beat fellow West Africans Cote d’Ivoire 2-1 and qualify for the Intercontinental World Cup Playoffs in December.
Ghana enjoyed more of the ball, but it was Cote d’Ivoire who went in front from the penalty spot in the first half.
After the break, they drew level from a header, before Germany-based Josephine Bonsu converted a penalt late on to win it for the Black Queens.
They will now go along with either Nigeria or South Africa in phase 1 of the Intercontinental Playoffs in December ahead of the 2027 World Cup in Brazil.
