German club earn millions from Ademola Lookman transfer

German club RB Leipzig will pocket some millions from the transfer of Ademola Lookman from Atalanta to Atletico Madrid.

Ademola Lookman is moving to Atletico Madrid for a base transfer fee of 35 million Euros.

Of that amount, 3.5 million Euros will go directly to RB Leipzig, according to BILD.

This is possible because of a clause, which Sky Sports also reported on.

RB Leipzig insisted on this clause in the summer of 2022 when the club sold Lookman to Atalanta for 9.35 million Euros.
