Genk have said they won’t sell Paul Onuachu to local rivals Club Brugge.
Club Brugge have missed out on top target Rasmus Hojlund, who has chosen to instead join Serie A club Atalanta.
Onuachu was an option for Club Brugge, but HLN has now reported that Genk have rejected the approach, saying he is not for sale at any price to domestic competitors.
Belgian champions Club Brugge were willing to pay at least 10 Million Euros for the giant striker.
The Super Eagles striker, who netted 21 goals last season, is keen to move to a bigger league in Europe.
He has been linked with several clubs including Wolves in the Premier League and Sevilla in La Liga.
