Genk coach has described as a “shame” after Paul Onuachu and teammate Theo Boganda rowed over who should take a penalty against Eupen Wednesday night.
Coach John van den Brom expressed his disappointment after his players openly disagreed over who should take the penalty, which Onuachu eventually did to complete his hat-trick on the hour.
“You don’t want that as a trainer. It is happening all over the world. I think it is terrible to see and it does not suit us at all, because we have a fantastic group ”, he told Het Laatste Nieuws
“I left it as it was. Of course I will sit down with Théo and Paul to get this out of the world very quickly, because eventually we have to continue.”
He added: “I’m not worried about it at all. It is a shame, because it lingers a bit. It pushes the beautiful victory somewhat into the background and that is not possible.”
