TikiTaka Nigeria put up another great fight today only to go down 2-1 to IF Brommapojkarna in the quarterfinal of this year’s Gothia Cup in Sweden.
Earlier today, they fought back from two goals down to win a penalty shootout against another Swedish side, IFK Goteborg, in a knockout match.
However, they could not stage another remarkable comeback later today even when they had cancelled out a seventh minute goal by the Swedish club.
Brommapojkarna will now square up against Tokyo FC of Japan in the semifinal, while Nigerian clubs Beyond Limits and Sporting Lagos do battle in the other semifinal.
