Galatasaray have said they plan to monitor on a daily basis the recovery of Victor Osimhen after he underwent knee surgery.
Galatasaray coach Okan Buruk said they cannot put a return date for the injured striker.
“There is no set time frame, rather there are estimated times” he said.
“We need to monitor it day-by-day.
“The international break has given us a two-week advantage. We will monitor it day-by-day and evaluate during that period.
“There may be situations where we won’t risk him for a week, three days or five days.
“These two weeks are important for us.”
The injury has caused the Super Eagles to leave out Osimhen from a crucial forthcoming 2027 AFCON double-header against Tanzania later this month.
