Young Nigerian forward Friday Etim is now the record transfer by Vizela after Portuguese second division club Mafra splashed a Million Euros for him.
Etim transfer got Vizela more than the 700,000 Euros they received for Koffi.
The forward said he is delighted with the move.
“I’m happy to be here, it’s another opportunity to develop and show the best of what I have. I hope that, with hard work and consistency, we can achieve our goals for the season together”, he said.
Mafra placed sixth last season.
The 21-year-old striker arrived from Vizela, where he played 24 games in the I Liga and 25 in Liga Revelação, for the club’s U23s, where he scored 20 goals since 2021.
Etim is Mafra’s second signing for the 2023/24 season after Pedro Bravo.
