NFF chieftains instead of submitting themselves to the criminal justice procedure and prove those they alleged are persecuting them wrongly, wasted their time further to procure another bizarre ruling Thursday, February 20, 2020.
Why are they evading justice? And for how long can they do this?
The National Association of Nigeria Footballers(NANF) would be proceeding immediately to lodge another complaint with the National Judicial Council against Hon.Justice Peter Affen of the Federal Capital Territory High Court Abuja.
The NANF will amongst others allege gross professional misconduct against his Lordship Justice Peter Affen for allegedly shielding alleged corrupt officials of the Nigeria Football federation and for obstructing the EFCC prosecution team from performing their statutory function by determining the defendants that should appear before his court.
In the NANF’s limited opinion his Lordship overstepped his bounds by ruling that suspects duly investigated by the foremost anti-graft agency in Nigeria should not be prosecuted.
This is unacceptable.
What is Hon. Justice Peter Affen interest in this matter?

The first bizarre ruling procured by same NFF chieftains in suit number FHC/ABJ/CR/93/2019 before Hon. Justice Ijeoma Ojukwu, the NANF complaint on this ruling is currently receiving attention from the National Judicial Council (NJC)
l humbly attach a letter to NANF from the Chief Justice of Nigeria(CJN) in this regard.
The NANF as a complainant rejects in its entirety Hon. Justice Affen ruling of February 20, 2020, in Charge number CR/324/18 on the EFCC application to amend its charge.
The NANF will continue to oppose and challenge any attempt either by commission or omission to frustrate any corruption matter against NFF top officials not heard on its merits.
It is our opinion that charges must be fully pressed and matters determined on its merit those found culpable should be punished and our stolen football funds recovered.
It’s foolhardy out of gross ignorance to see the social media agog yesterday with sponsored stories that NFF top officials have been set free.
Who set them free? There are still several upcoming and pending cases.
