Flying Eagles winger Haliru Sarki has signed a long-term contract with Al Ain in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
His Abuja club Mahanaim announced the transfer of the pacy forward, who featured for Nigeria at the recent U20 World Cup in Argentina.
“We have reached an agreement with a top Asian club side, @alainclub for the transfer of our player and Nigeria U20 forward, Haliru Sarki. The deal is a long-term project,” the club announced.
“We are wishing Sarki and his new club success in the coming season.”
The Kebbi-born star also featured at the U20 AFCON qualifiers as well as the AFCON proper in Egypt.
His blistering pace is his biggest asset and he has also weighed in with his fair share of goals.
