The Flying Eagles have won the WAFU B Cup Group A after hosts Ghana could only beat Benin by a lone goal in the final group game.
Both Nigeria and Ghana finished on four points each, but the Flying Eagles advanced to the semifinals as group winners by virtue of the 4-1 victory over Benin after both teams drew 1-1 in the opening game.
On Sunday, the Flying Eagles will thus face the runners-up of Group B, while Ghana will take on the Group B winners for a place in the final of the sub-regional competition.
