The Flying Eagles are expected to soon move their training camp out of Abuja to the Remo Stars Sports Complex in Ikenne so as to step up their buildup for WAFU B U20 AFCON qualifiers in Togo.
The Flying Eagles will train at the Remo Stars Arena for a week before they head out to Togo.
Coach Aliyu Zubairu has demanded for “total concentration” in the final days leading to the qualifying tournament.
This comes as former Super Eagles striker Victor Ikpeba saluted the contributions of Remo Stars owner, Kunle Soname, to Nigeria football.
“Soname has brought great value to football in Nigeria, whether it is making his aircraft available for the Super Eagles, investing in Remo Stars and Beyond Limits Academy, or allowing the Flying Eagles to train at his complex,” Ikpeba remarked.
“He’s a true football person, who has supported the growth of football with all his heart.
“We need more of his type for football to flourish in Nigeria,”
