Former Flying Eagles star Luqman Gilmore has told SCORENigeria that he is thrilled to win the Goal of the Season award for his Latvian club Paide.
The Iwo-born player’s 30-yard cracker against Levadia was picked for the top prize.
“I feel amazing, I’m super proud of this achievement even though I will trade it for a team trophy,” he told SCORENigeria
“I dedicated this goal to God almighty and also to my little girl because she was feeling sick before I went to the game that day, while I was worried a bit about her I went ahead to play and delivered this banger plus a winning assist in the same game.”
