Former Flying Eagles midfielder Tochukwu Nnadi is making his mark in midfield for Zulte Waregem and believes his club are capable of a Top-6 finish this season.
Nnadi praised the quality of Zulte Waregem and also praised top scorer Jeppe Erenbjerg.
“By the way, with Jeppe Erenbjerg, we also have the top scorer in the Jupiler Pro League in our ranks. That must say something about the quality of our squad,” said 22-year-old Nnadi.
The Zulte Waregem midfielder then expressed his ambition in the Jupiler Pro League.
“Why shouldn’t we aim for a top-six finish? We really have the quality,” said Nnadi about Zulte Waregem’s ambition.
“I’m not going to reveal what our group’s objectives are—that remains internal—but I certainly believe we’re capable of competing for a place in the Champions’ Play-Offs.
“Ultimately, staying in the league and having a worry-free season remains our main objective.”
