The Flying Eagles plan to play test games against Benin and Niger Republics before they depart to Argentina for the U20 World Cup.
Coach Ladan Bosso disclosed this proposal, saying these matches will further improve the team for the challenges ahead.
“We plan to play against Benin and Niger Republics even though they won’t be part of the World Cup,” he said.
“We will also play some friendlies in Argentina for the team to blend with the foreign professionals.”
The Flying Eagles are scheduled to depart for Argentina on Saturday, May 6.
They are drawn in a tough-looking group that also has five-time champions Brazil, Italy and the Dominican Republic.
The tournament kicks off on May 20.
