Coach Ladan Bosso has kept faith with the squad of players who featured at the recent U20 AFCON in Egypt after they formed the bulk of his call-ups for training camp for the U20 World Cup.
Flying Eagles placed third at the AFCON in Egypt to qualify for the U20 World Cup and 15 players from that tournament have been recalled.
They include captain Daniel Bameyi, Solomon Agbalaka, Benjamin Frederick, Onuche Ogbelu, Muhammad Aminu, Samson Lawal and Ibrahim Mohammed ‘Beji’.
Striker Francis Ayuba (Nasarawa United), Adams Olamilekan (Remo Stars) and Plateau United winger Emma Uchegbo did not get a second chance.
Striker Adam Olubi, who played at last year’s WAFU B qualifiers, has staged a comeback after injury stopped him from making the squad to the AFCON.
Training camp will open today in Abuja.
