Terem Moffi dazzled in training to show he has fully recovered from a hamstring injury that ruled him out of KV Kortrijk recent games.
He stood out with his gold-dyed hair and also for his displays on the pitch as Kortrijk got set for a visit to Standard Liege on Sunday.
“I feel completely fit,” he said after training Wednesday.
The 21-year-old striker was expected to have returned to action in the home game against Mouscron, the team that did not give him a contract after trials last year, on Sunday, but was given an extra week after he called in sick.
“He had only just recovered from a muscle tear and so he got an extra week rest before he has to start a game,” general manager Matthias Leterme said.
On Monday, Moffi joined the rest of the squad to pass a Coronavirus test.
Before the injury he scored in the historic win at KRC Genk to open his goals account for the new season.
Kortrijk are now fourth on the table with 10 points from five matches, while Standard are third with the same points and better goals difference.
