In their quest to make a big impact in the 2021 CAF Champions League, Plateau United have signed seven new players.
The club’s spokesman Albert Dakup informed SCORENigeria of their recruitment as they are poised to represent Nigeria well in the CAF Champions League.
“We are doing our best to make sure we do well in CAF Champions League and Nigeria league as well,” Dakup said.
“We have therefore signed seven new players who will add to the quality of the current squad.”
The players signed are Nigeria U23 goalkeeper Adamu Abubakar, former ABS FC and Enyimba striker Abdulrahman Bashir, striker Sunday Adetunji and Wasiu Jimoh from Sunshine Stars.
Others are Nigeria U20 defender Aliyu Shina, Effiong Moses from Dakkada FC and Dennis Nya from Akwa United.
Plateau United have set a semifinal target in the Champions League after they first featured in the competition two years ago.
