After they were outdone for the fourth straight season by eternal rivals Galatasaray, Fenerbache now plan to fight back beginning with a massive splash in the transfer market as they target to sign both Ademola Lookman and departing Liverpool legend Mo Salah.
Fenerbahçe presidential candidates Aziz Yıldırım and Hakan Safi are working intensely with their teams to make some big transfer announcements before the congress on June 6-7.
Both candidates are now pushing to reach agreements with both Ademola Lookman and Salah, according to Fanatik
In January, Fenerbahçe had reached an agreement with both Lookman and Atalanta on all terms, and even prepared a contract.
However, the Italian team insisted on a bank guarantee, and when the Sadettin Saran administration refused to provide it, Atletico Madrid stepped in and finalised the deal.
Yıldırım and Safi are now looking for ways to bring Ademola Lookman, who the fans so desperately want, to the club.
They have been encouraged by the latest news coming out of Spain that Atletico are open to sell the Super Eagles star for a profit.
