Victor Osimhen has hogged the headlines and earned a lot of praise after his brace salvaged a 2-2 draw at Leicester City for Napoli in a UEFA Europa League group game.
Napoli looked dead and buried after going two goals down after more than an hour of action in England, before Osimhen conjured two goals for them to rescue the game.
Top Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport lead frontpage headline was simply ‘Fantastic Osimhen’, while La Gazzetta dello Sport reported a dream outing for Osimhen on its cover page.

The Super Eagles striker trended on Twitter with lavish praise heaped on him.
“Tremendous character from Napoli last night, and Osimhen in particular,” Kevin Mckenna tweeted.
“Hopefully that kick starts his season.”
“Showed up when we needed him,” saluted @Elmagomata
Osimhen himself promised to give everything for his club.
“The club have always believed in me,” he told Sky Sport.
“I want to continue like this in the season.
“I want to feel good without injuries and achieve the goals we have set for ourselves. One step after another.
“I want to give everything for this team.”
