Defending champions Japan and the Netherlands from Group D are the likely hurdle for the Falconets in the quarterfinals.
They now have six points from two matches to lead the group after France beat Canada 3-1 in the other group tie.
They take on pointless Canada on Thursday in a final group game.
FC Robo midfielder Esther Oyenezide’s thunderous strike in the 82nd minute gave the Falconets all three points.
